Interior Painting in Cookeville, TN.

Walls, trim, ceilings, cabinets, and accent treatments

Paint is the cheapest way to make a tired room feel new — but only if it's done right. Most of the bad paint jobs we walk into started with skipped prep: dirty walls, no caulk on the trim seams, no sand between coats, cheap roller covers leaving fuzz everywhere. We do interior painting the long way — fill, caulk, sand, prime, and two coats of quality paint cut and rolled clean. It costs a little more time on the front end and a lot more years on the back end.

Common questions

Answers people ask us most.

What kind of paint do you use?
Premium interior latex from Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore for walls and ceilings — usually their mid-tier lines like SuperPaint or Regal Select. For cabinets and trim we use cabinet-grade enamel like SW Emerald Urethane or BM Advance. Cheap paint is a false economy; you end up doing the room twice.
Do I have to leave the house while you paint?
No. Modern interior paints are low-VOC and don't smell strongly. We can work around your daily routine. If you're sensitive to even mild odors, opening windows and a box fan helps.
How long until I can put furniture back?
Walls dry to the touch in 1–2 hours and cure to a hard finish in about a week. You can put furniture back the next day if you're careful not to press it hard against the wall. We'll tell you which surfaces are still curing.
Can you match an existing wall color?
Yes — we either find the original color (if you have a paint can in the basement labeled, that's gold) or we color-match a sample at the paint store. Matches are usually 95%+ accurate but not always perfect on a single wall patch — sometimes the whole wall needs a refresh to blend.
Do you fix the drywall too, or just paint?
We do both. Small dings, nail holes, anchor holes, hairline cracks — that's all part of paint prep. Bigger drywall repair (holes, water damage, popped seams) is a separate line item but we handle it. You don't need a separate drywall crew before we come.
