How small a job will you take?

We have a minimum visit charge because we can't show up for a 10-minute fix and make it work, but as long as you've got a list — even three or four small things — we'll come out and knock them all out in one trip. That's the most economical way to do repair work.

Will you give me a quote over the phone?

For really simple stuff like 'swap a faucet' or 'install a ceiling fan I bought', sometimes yes. For anything where we'd be guessing — drywall repair, door fixes, anything we can't see — we'd rather come look and give you real numbers. The walk-through is free.

What if you find something worse than expected?

We tell you before we keep going. Example: drywall patch turns out to be hiding water damage from a leaking pipe. We stop, show you, talk through options, and you decide whether to expand the scope or fix the immediate issue and come back later. We don't surprise people with bigger invoices.

Do you handle electrical and plumbing?

Light fixture swaps, outlet replacement, faucet swaps, toilet swaps, disposal install — yes, all the time. Anything that requires running new wire, opening up walls for plumbing, or pulling a permit, we bring in a licensed electrician or plumber. We coordinate it so you're not chasing three different trades.

Can you handle older homes?

Yes — and we like them. Cookeville has a lot of houses from the 60s through the 80s and there's a lot of charm worth keeping. Old plaster, lath, original trim, dated electrical — we know what we're walking into and how to fix it without erasing the character.
